If you pop by our warehouse to pick up an order, we’ll need to record the ID of whoever takes the item away with them.
Why do we do this?
We want your new furniture to make it to the right place, so we’ll ask for a copy of your ID to make sure it matches up with the one on the order.
However, we’ll also need to take a copy for fraud prevention purposes. This is in order to protect you and Lounge Lovers from credit card fraud. In the unlikely event that we spot a case of fraud, we can then give this information to the relevant authorities if required.
By submitting your ID, you consent to the collection of your personal information and the disclosure of it to relevant authorities as necessary.
Getting someone else to pick up your order?
Just make sure they bring their ID and that they have a copy of your ID as well to prove that they’re authorised to pick it up.
Is my data safe?
You’ve entrusted us with your data, and we don’t take that lightly. Your information is held securely for three months and only authorised personnel have access to this data. After this period, the data is destroyed.
Prefer not to submit your ID?
